This 12,000 SF 1950s Grocery Store was purchased in a derelict condition. The building will be converted into 12 gallery style apartments which "occupy" the volume of the existing building. The only sections of roof which will remain sit above the units which have been thoughtfully placed within the building to create beautiful, lush, landscaped courtyards and winter gardens. The project will house: four 1,000 SF units with 16' high ceilings, and eight 500 SF units with 9' high ceilings. The remaining 17,000 SF of land on the site are sandwiched between the building and the Grand Trunk Rail-line, an operational train track which services freight transports.
